Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's       for you then we recommend Musquacook Stream; there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Carry Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a great choice, and some nearby water includes North Branch Soper Brook. Throughout the summertime highs here at Upper Soper Pond reach the 70's while overnight lows are frequently in the 50's.
