You should check out Prentiss Cove when you're here at Upper Pond; you can stay the night at Damariscotta River Campground. Summertime highs at Upper Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; night lows in the 0's for Upper Pond. The high level of precipitation       makes Upper Pond a quite wet place; through the month of November you get the most rain around here; February is when it's the driest. After a long day outdoors Linekin Bay Resort is a good place to spend a night or two, and dry warm beds await you at Flagship Inn. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Damariscotta River for all you adrenaline junkies. Lakes are perfect; Webber Pond is a lake that's near Upper Pond. You simply have to adore                  Upper Pond. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Hockomock Nature Trail; there are some great whitewater spots on Pemaquid River. You're possibly addicted to lakes, Damariscotta Lake is one of those nearby, and while you're here you can play some golf at Wawenock Country Club. Bristol Mills Dam is not far at all from Upper Pond.
