     Bald Mountain is picturesque and can be distinguished from Upper Pond, and a pleasant spot to camp here at Upper Pond is Acres Of wildlife Camping. Upper Pond is a relatively wet place commonly with a great deal of rainfall; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. High temperatures at Upper Pond during the days of summer are in the 70's while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the  
   50's. Highs throughout the wintertime are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Upper Pond are in the 0's. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Saco River, and Southeast Pond is a nearby lake that you could go to.
Why not camp at Nason's Beach and Campground while you're here at Upper Pond, and do visit Sanborn Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff close to Upper Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Pleasant
