     The sight of Truesdale Mountain from Upper First Saint John Pond is pretty, and while you're here, you could also visit beautiful Lower First Saint John Pond. If you came for an overnight stay Seboomook wilderness Campground is a nice place to camp, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Alder Brook Trail. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Upper First Saint John Pond; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February  
   on the other hand is the driest. You can run the rapids of Penobscot River - North Branch close to Upper First Saint John Pond, and Lodge at Moosehead Lake is a wonderful place to get some rest.
High temperatures at Upper First Saint John Pond through the summer months are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Upper First Saint John Pond are in
 
               the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Little Lane Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Penobscot River - South Branch is a good whitewater spot close by. That right there is a load already, but it continues; Upper First Saint John Pond has it all. Camping is available at Old Mill Camping Area.

This is the web site for Seboomoook Wilderness Campground. Yes they are still there and it's still beautiful! Their phone number is at their web site. They have a new email address but I don't know what it is....
My family and I have been to seboomook campground for the last 7 years, Its beautiful, friendly and a great place to spend some time. When planning this years trip I have discovered that I cannot get to the web page,(when going to that page a porno site comes up) and the number I had made reservations on for the last 7 years is not in service. I dont understand this?...Is it still there???...
