Good hiking is available along the Pierce Tote Road, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend St. Croix Stream. Don't leave Upper Deadwater without first going for a hike along the Old Dam Tote Road, and get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Squa Pan Stream. This lake is so wonderful. There are magnificent sites to explore along the Kennedy Tote Road; Bear Mountain       Lodge is a tremendous campground nearby. Do have a look at Saint Croix Lake close to Upper Deadwater, it's a gorgeous lake. You clearly must go for Upper Deadwater. The snow is pleasant at Bigrock, and you can stay the night at Neil E Michaud Campground. Getting to Boom Brook from Upper Deadwater is simple; a striking lake like Lower Deadwater is a splendid spot to stop at. At Upper Deadwater all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. Summer overnight                  lows fall down to the 50's. Highs all through the wintertime are usually in the 20's; during the dark hours in the winter at Upper Deadwater temperatures plunge to the-10's.
