Good hiking is available along the Kennedy Tote Road, and why not head up to Bigrock and strap some skis to your feet. All the outdoors cool things close to Upper Deadwater will keep you coming back persistently. Get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Squa Pan Stream, and there's tremendous hiking along       the Old Dam Tote Road. This lake is so wonderful. Boom Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and Upper Deadwater is not the only site nearby, Lower Deadwater is a nearby lake. Upper Deadwater gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Upper Deadwater highs are frequently in the 70's; during summer nights temperatures                  are in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Upper Deadwater. Upper Deadwater is a great location to visit for more than one day, Neil E Michaud Campground is a great location to camp nearby, and if you've had enough of Upper Deadwater, Saint Croix Lake is close by.
