Whohoo, so many exciting things in one place! Upper Cranberry Lake is so good! If you come at the right time of year, Mopang Stream offers some pleasant whitewater. There are some good whitewater spots on Machias River - West Branch, and the peak of Cranberry Mountain can be made out from Upper Cranberry Lake. Don't leave Upper Cranberry Lake without first going       for a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail, and Lower Cranberry Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. All the water falling down from the sky makes Upper Cranberry Lake a wet place; the month with most of the rain is November, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Keenes Lake Camping Grounds is a brilliant spot to camp, and there are brilliant locations to discover along the Lead Mountain                  Trail. Summertime at Upper Cranberry Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's, and the night is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's.
