At Upper Cranberry Lake you can spot Cranberry Mountain; going for a hike on the Eagle Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Machias River - West Branch, and nearby you come across the Lead Mountain Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. For the period of the summer highs       here at Upper Cranberry Lake reach the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and night lows in the 0's for Upper Cranberry Lake. Bar Harbor Inn is a delightful place to get some rest. A good deal of rainfall falls at Upper Cranberry Lake; November is when you get the most rain here, and February on the other hand is the driest.
