Going for a hike along the Lead Mountain Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Mopang Stream. A quick trip to Baker Brook right next door to Unknown Pond is a good idea, and since you're here, you could also take a look at striking Upper Lead Mountain Pond. All through the summer highs here at Unknown Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures       descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Unknown Pond. If you came to camp Eastbrook Campground is a pleasant place to do that; if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Narraguagus River. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Unknown Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Sea Breeze Motel.                  Unknown Pond regularly gets much rain; through the month of November you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
