Umcolcus Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Umcolcus Lake. There are pleasant places to look at along the Snowshoe Lake Road. Homestead Lodge is a great campground nearby, and paddling on St. Croix Stream is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the American Thread Company Road, and get soaked paddling on Squa Pan Stream. During

| | the warm months at Umcolcus Lake highs are usually in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are frequently in the 20's while Umcolcus Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the winter are in the-10's. Go for a hike on the Old Dam Tote Road; Mystic Acres Campground is a pleasant local campground.
