Do stop by Twin Ponds while you're in this part of Maine. Getting to Spring Brook from Twin Ponds is uncomplicated, and the Chimney Pond Trail is a fine hiking trail close by. You must check out Pickerel Cove when you're here at Twin Ponds, and there is a tremendous hiking trail nearby called the Sand Bank Trail. | | in the 20's, and after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Twin Ponds fall into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn, and a good site to camp here at Twin Ponds is Big Moose Campground. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Twin Ponds; during the month of July you get the most rain around here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. are some tremendous whitewater spots on Sandy Stream, needless to say you could also visit Bottle Pond while you're here; it's not far at all. You're sure to encounter some wonderful folks from Bangor here, and a lake close by
is Logan Ponds. At Twin Ponds you can distinguish Trout Mountain; camping is available at Roaring Brook Campground. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Twin Ponds. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if
it's for you then we recommend Millinocket Stream, and nearby you find the Dudley Trail which is a perfect hiking trail.
