During the days of summer at Twin Ponds highs are usually in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's while Twin Ponds nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the-10's. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater       paddling on Sandy Stream; if you came for an overnight stay Big Moose Campground is a tremendous place to camp. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the area close to Twin Ponds has to offer. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Millinocket Stream, and while you're here, you could also explore charming Bottle Pond. There are fine locations to explore along the Sand Bank Trail, and you'll locate a picturesque lake called Logan Ponds.
