Not far from Twin Pond, you'll hit upon Eyelet Pond which is a beautiful lake; going for a hike along the Telephone Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. Twin Pond is a good place of normal rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. The peak of Shepherd Brook Mountain can be seen from Twin Pond, and you can have a tremendous hiking adventure along the Chase Carry.

| | There are other sites here than Twin Pond, for example Shepherd Pond, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Musquacook Stream. During the summertime months here at Twin Pond, high temperatures ordinarily reach the 70's; the nighttime is somewhat chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Twin Pond. | |
