This lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Gray Ledge Dam Trail is pleasant fun, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Bangor for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side spree to Quakish Brook, and Twin Lakes is right by the Cedar Lake Trail. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn       & Suites is a magnificent spot to spend a night or two, and you don’t have to go far from Twin Lakes to spot the water at North Twin Dam. Lakes are tremendous; Elbow Lake is a lake that's near Twin Lakes, and if you're a golfer then a perfect nearby course is Hillcrest Golf Club. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Smith Pond; Twin Lakes is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Hidden Springs Campground is a                  delightful local campground. The yearly rainfall here at Twin Lakes is about average; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things near Twin Lakes. Take a hike on the Ragged Mountain Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Millinocket Stream. What a site this is for outdoors people. A visit to Haynes Point next to Twin Lakes is always a great idea, and camping at Allagash Gateway Campsite is always a perfect experience. For the duration of the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Twin Lakes, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
