Through the months of summer at Turtle Pond highs are frequently in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 20's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Turtle Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Schoodic Stream in a kayak. There's so much to do here at Turtle       Pond that you need to camp here for a while, South Branch Lake Camp is a good site for that. Take a hike on the Scutaze Trail, and at Seboeis Dam right next door to Turtle Pond there are some exciting things to see. Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! Turtle Pond is peerless! This is a nice vicinity for people who like lakes. Seboeis Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and a perfect close by hotel is Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn. Nearby                  lakes? Turtle Pond is a good spot of typical rainfall; July is the month that gets the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Piscataquis River, and the Lard Camp Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful.
