    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Turtle Pond. Chandler Parker Mountain can be seen from Turtle Pond, and there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Blue Hill Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Turtle Pond has to offer, you can camp at Whispering Pines Campground, and swamps can be such attention-grabbing places, stop by Camp Stream Bog since you're here at Turtle Pond. You just can't envision  
   the amount of outdoors cool things the area next to Turtle Pond has to offer. Get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Blue Hill Falls, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a nice choice.
There's whitewater on Narramissic River for all you adrenaline kick people, and going for a hike on the Old Cove Trail is always a tremendous adventure. McCaslin Stream flows through this area; you need to explore The Bluffs since
 
               you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Near Turtle Pond you locate the Bald Mountain Trail which is a good hiking trail; you can stay the night at Balsam Cove Campground.
Turtle Pond gets a common amount of precipitation; November is the month that gets the most rain while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A fine nearby hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. Summertime at Turtle Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; after the sun is down all through the winter temperatures at Turtle Pond plunge into the 0's.
