Why not take a look at close by Billington Brook if you're here at Turner Pond, and whitewater paddling is great on Sandy River. High temperatures at Turner Pond throughout the summer are in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Turner Pond. Dry warm beds await you at Wilson       Lake Inn, and Turner Pond is not far at all from Lewiston-Auburn. What a location this is for outdoors people. Comfort Inn & Suites is a fine place to get some rest, and if you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Wilson Stream. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Lost Valley. Turner Pond is a reasonably wet place frequently with a great deal of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest                  with most of the rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is nice fun; a round of golf at nearby Maple Lane Inn & Golf Club is a great way to kill some time. Here at Turner Pond you can catch a glimpse of Fayette Ridge; Turner Pond is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Riverbend Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Titcomb is great.
