Not far from Turner Pond, you'll hit upon Round Pond which is a wonderful lake, and Turner Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Riverbend Campground is a wonderful local campground. Turner Pond frequently gets a lot of precipitation; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain while February is regularly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. The Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a pleasant hiking trail close to Turner

There's so much to do here at Turner Pond that you need to camp here for a while, East Livermore Campgrounds is a glorious place for that, and Turner Pond is a site with many visitors from Lewiston-Auburn. Wilson Lake Inn. Head up to Titcomb and strap some skis to your feet, and if you come at the right time of year, Wilson Stream offers some delightful whitewater. The snow is great at Lost Valley.
