Tumbledown Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Muskrat Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; Black Mountain is a very popular ski area in the neighborhood. During the summer, highs generally are in the 70's at Tumbledown Pond, and the overnight is a little colder of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Tumbledown Pond drop into the-10's.

You can run the rapids of Swift River in the neighborhood of Tumbledown Pond, and the Brook Trail is a good hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. and close by you find the Chimney Trail which is a great hiking trail. A wonderful place for whitewater paddling right next door to Tumbledown Pond is Sandy River, and you can hit the slopes at Saddleback in the vicinity. This
lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a great adventure, and Tumbledown Pond is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Dummer's Beach is a perfect local campground. You completely should have
a thing about the White Mountains. While you're here at Tumbledown Pond, you could also check out lovely Jackson Pond. There's so much to do here at Tumbledown Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground
is a great site for that. The yearly rain here at Tumbledown Pond is about average; the wettest month of the year is frequently August, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month is February.
