You're sure to run into some good people from Bangor here, and you can go for a hike on the Sand Bank Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn, and there is a good hiking trail close       by called the Sandbank Trail. Drift down the rapids of Millinocket Stream in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Telos Tote Road is always a delightful adventure.
