Beautiful Trout Pond has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Wassataquoik Stream for all you adrenaline kick people, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Sandbank Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Trout Pond has to offer, you can camp at Hidden Springs Campground, and get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Millinocket Stream. You're sure to encounter some wonderful people from Bangor here, and going for a hike on the Telos Tote Road is always a magnificent adventure. dark hours in the wintertime at Trout Pond temperatures plunge to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Kelloch Mountain is picturesque and can be spotted from Trout Pond. Lakes? Sure, Moose Pond is nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn; not far from Trout Pond you'll stumble on Deasey Ponds which is a pretty lake.
