If you like lakes and you're in this part of Maine you can check out Trout Pond. Trout Pond gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; the month with most of the rain is November while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some good people from Bangor here, and you can go for a hike on the Sand Bank Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Katahdin Inn, and there is a good hiking trail close

| | by called the Sandbank Trail. Drift down the rapids of Millinocket Stream in a kayak, and going for a hike on the Telos Tote Road is always a delightful adventure. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Trout Pond highs are ordinarily in the 70's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Trout Pond fall into the 0's. | |

One of the main features of the surroundings of Trout Pond is Kelloch Mountain; you can stay the night at Hidden Springs Campground. Don't stop me now, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Trout Pond. You'll need more than a
day to discover everything Trout Pond has to offer, you can camp at Allagash Gateway Campsite, and get wet paddling on Wassataquoik Stream.
