The beauty of Trout Pond attracts many people from all around. Stay the night at Pleasant River Campground, and a day on the slopes of Mount Abram is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a brilliant spot to get some rest; Bad Mountain is easy to spot from Trout Pond. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. If you get bored of Trout Pond, you could also explore close by Patte Brook Waterfowl Impoundment

| | Reservoir. There's so much to do here at Trout Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Crocker Pond Campground is a great site for that. This lake is so wonderful. The snow is magnificent at Sunday River, and don't leave Trout Pond without first going for a hike along the Caribou Trail. fun stuff in the White Mountains will keep you coming back persistently. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Trout Pond; Miles Notch Trail is a splendid local trail, and in case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can
always go whitewater paddling on Crooked River. Don't forget to take a fine little visit to Miles Brook; if you need a location to stay Sunday River is a fine choice. If you love the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Trout Pond.
There's tremendous hiking along the Albany Notch Trail, and Number Eight Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at. At Trout Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Daytime highs
all through the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Trout Pond through the wintertime mostly drop into the 0's. The amount of rainfall that falls at Trout Pond is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month of the year is February.
