What a spot this is for outdoors people. Head up to Shawnee Peak and strap some skis to your feet, and why not camp at Crocker Pond Campground while you're here at Trout Pond. An average amount of rain falls at Trout Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and January is when it's the driest. Yep, outdoors amusing things truly is abundant here in the White Mountains. All through the summer at Trout Pond highs are mostly in the 70's, and all through

| | summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's while Trout Pond nighttime low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 0's. The snow is glorious at Mount Abram, and get your pulse rate up on the pleasant whitewater of Crooked River. This lake is so wonderful. Keewaydin Lake is close by. So much amusing stuff to do in the White Mountains, not enough time. If you need a spot to stay The Victoria Inn is a good choice; there's perfect hiking along the Albany Brook Trail. This lake is so
wonderful. The Albany Notch Trail offers hiking at its best, and dry warm beds await you at The Bethel Inn Resort. Put some time aside to spend at Kezar Falls while you're here at Trout Pond, and Cushman Pond Dam is stunning. Life's
too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff close to Trout Pond. A brilliant place to pop by near Trout Pond is Kezar Falls Gorge, and not far from Trout Pond you'll come across Cushman Pond which is a picturesque lake. Allen Mountain can be distinguished from Trout Pond; Kezar Lake Camping Area is a nice local campground.
