Paddling on Nicatous Stream is so much fun; Maple Grove Campground is a fine campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. On a good day at Trout Pond you can take a hike along the Eagle Lake Trail, and do explore Little Guagus Stream since you're here at Trout Pond. Summertime highs at Trout Pond mostly tend to be in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are commonly       in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Trout Pond are in the 0's. There is a splendid hiking trail in the neighborhood of Trout Pond called the Lead Mountain Trail, and Cold Spring Campground is a great local campground. Trout Pond gets a good deal of water; November is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month is February. So much enjoyable stuff to do at Trout Pond, so little time.
