What a nice lake Trout Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Mattawamkeag River - West Branch, and if you came for an overnight stay Bear Mountain Lodge is a pleasant location to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Long Brook Ridge is a peak you can distinguish from Trout Pond; you can go for a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road. What a place this is for outdoors people. A great location
