     Swamps don’t sound that splendid but Alder Brook Swamp near Trout Lake is reasonably splendid, and naturally Denver Brook is a scenic stream that is worth going to. There's whitewater on Grand Lake Stream for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and do check out Pleasant Lake, it's a charming lake. Through the summertime highs here at Trout Lake reach the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. High temperatures during the  
   winter are normally in the 20's; night lows during the wintertime for Trout Lake tend to be in the 0's.
Trout Lake sees pretty high levels of rain; during the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is June. If you came to camp Maine Wilderness Camps is a brilliant location to do that; Orie Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Having a good time at Trout Lake is simple. There's so much to do here at Trout
 
               Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Old Farm Inn is a great place for that; dry warm beds await you at Scottish Inns Houlton.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Baskahegan Stream, and nearby you discover Birch Point.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
