Drift down the rapids of Baskahegan Stream in a kayak; if you come at the right time of year, Grand Lake Stream offers some good whitewater. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Trout Lake has to offer, you can camp at Maine Wilderness Camps, and some of the water nearby flows, like Denver Brook. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Old Farm Inn, and Scottish Inns Houlton is a wonderful location to get       some rest. Alder Brook Swamp is a swamp in the vicinity of Trout Lake, and Birch Point is not far at all. Yeah, come here to Trout Lake for a good time. Trout Lake mostly gets much rain; throughout the month of November you get the most rain around here while June is mostly the driest month. Through the long summer days here at Trout Lake, high temperatures generally reach the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's.
