Trout Lake is a wet place that gets a good deal of rainfall; November is the wettest month with most rain, and June on the other hand is the driest. next door to Trout Lake is quite brilliant; get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Baskahegan Stream.

Clifford Lake
 | 19 miles away Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) .
