Beaver Pond is a pleasant lake in close proximity to Trickey Ponds; a wonderful close by hotel is Bingham Motor Inn. There is a nice hiking trail in the vicinity of Trickey Ponds called the Bald Mountain Trail, and a tremendous place to camp here at Trickey Ponds is Old Mill Camping Area. Penobscot River - South Branch has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby; naturally Fish Brook flows through this neighborhood.       This lake is so wonderful. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River - South Branch, and some attention-grabbing geology is available here, Trickey Bluffs is right here. Lakes? Sure, Alder Pond is around here, and going for a hike on the Sally Mountain Trail is always a magnificent adventure. So many entertaining things near Trickey Ponds, just tremendous. The Alder Brook Trail is a brilliant hiking trail in close                  proximity to Trickey Ponds; why not camp at Woody's Campground and Cottages while you're here at Trickey Ponds. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Trickey Ponds all through the long summer days are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Trickey Ponds.
