There's so much to do here at Trafton Brook that you need to camp here for a while, Apache Campground is a great site for that, and near Trafton Brook you hit upon a golf course called Sanford Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. From Trafton Brook you obtain a glorious panorama of Brackett Hill; you can run the rapids of Little River. If you need a location to stay Sanford Inn is a wonderful choice.       You'll need more than a day to look at everything Trafton Brook has to offer, you can camp at Scott's Cove Camping Area. If only every location had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great planet it would be. Take a side visit to Canes Brook, and Little Ossipee River is a nice whitewater spot close by. Trafton Brook ordinarily gets a lot of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily November, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month                  of the year is September. This lake is so wonderful. Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel is a perfect spot to get some rest; do stop by Shaker Pond, it's a pretty lake. Trafton Brook Dam is an interesting thing to check out, and a scenic lake like Round Pond is a glorious location to pop by. The warmest time of the year at Trafton Brook arrives with high temperatures in the 80's with night lows in the 50's.
