You're perhaps addicted to lakes, Elbow Pond is one of those close by; obviously Slaughter Brook flows through this region. This lake is so wonderful. There's great hiking along the Abol Trail; a visit to Big Niagara Falls will fill your soul with good feelings. South Branch Pond Campground is a splendid local campground; needless to say, this is a perfect area for folks who like lakes, Grassy Pond is a lake around here. If you want a good time in the great

| | outdoors, just come on down to Tracy Pond. Go for a hike on the Abol Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Nesowadnehunk Stream River. At Tracy Pond you can distinguish Mount O-J-I, and Foster Field is a beautiful location any time of year. Good hiking is available along the Abot Trail, and why not camp at Chimney Pond Campground since you're here at Tracy Pond. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Tracy Pond, | |

Stream offers some delightful whitewater; you can never get enough of the fine skiing at Big Squaw. An average amount of precipitation falls at Tracy Pond; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
