    A visit to Tracy Pond is always a good idea. Very pretty scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Big Squaw, and lakes are such serene spots, why not stop by Grassy Pond. Man, is there loads of enjoyable things to do next to Tracy Pond. Good hiking is available along the Abol Trail; Tracy Pond is a wonderful place to visit for more than one day, South Branch Pond Campground is a wonderful place to camp nearby. Go for a hike on the Abot Trail; Foster Field is  
   a splendid location to check out.
Elbow Pond is a glorious lake right next door to Tracy Pond; the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Big Niagara Falls. Slaughter Brook is a nice local stream, and there are nice spots to explore along the Abol Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Nesowadnehunk Stream for all you thrill seekers, and the panorama of beautiful Mount O-J-I is delightful.

               beating on the good whitewater of Nesowadnehunk Stream River, and Chimney Pond Campground is a splendid local campground. All through the warmest time of the year here at Tracy Pond, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's while night lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Tracy Pond descend into the-10's. An average amount of precipitation falls at Tracy Pond; July is the month that gets the most rain while February is usually the driest month.
