    Go to Tracy Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Tracy Pond is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, South Branch Pond Campground is a delightful local campground; there are some good whitewater spots on Nesowadnehunk Stream. Slaughter Brook is a beautiful stream that is worth a visit, and Foster Field is a good place.
At Tracy Pond during the days of summer highs are in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer
 
   temperatures plunge down into the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Tracy Pond tend to be in the-10's. You imagine that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Don't leave Tracy Pond without first going for a hike along the Abol Trail, and if you've had enough of Tracy Pond, Daisey Pond is close by. Don't leave Tracy Pond without first paying a visit to Big Niagara Falls, and there's whitewater  
               on Nesowadnehunk Stream River for all you adrenaline kick people.
This lake is so wonderful. You're most likely interested in lakes, Slaughter Pond is one of those nearby, and if you came to camp Chimney Pond Campground is a good place to do that. There are wonderful places to explore along the Abot Trail, and Big Squaw is a very popular ski area in close proximity. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Tracy Pond; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
Going for a hike on the Abol Trail is always a splendid adventure; the summit of Mount O-J-I can be made out from Tracy Pond.
