Arnold Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Dead River - North Branch. All through the summertime months at Tr-Arnold Pond highs are usually in the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. | | wonderful. There's so much to do here at Tr-Arnold Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Cathedral Pines Camping Area is a glorious spot for that, and a lake close by is Mud Pond. Tr-Arnold Pond is a wet place that gets lots of rain; the month with most of the rain is August while February is mostly the driest month. It's a tremendous idea to pop by Massachusetts Bog Stream, it's next to Tr-Arnold Pond, and going for a hike on the Morrell Trail is | |

always a pleasant adventure. This lake is so wonderful. Very gorgeous scenery and nice skiing is what you get at Saddleback; there's always Arnold Pond Inlet Dam to check out right next door to Tr-Arnold Pond. There is a nice
hiking trail near Tr-Arnold Pond called the Arnold Trail; whitewater paddling is great on Kennebago River. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Tr-Arnold Pond. If you came to camp Cupsuptic Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and nearby you stumble on the Arnold Pond Trail which is a good hiking trail.

 | 13 miles away 2 PHOTOS I've been visiting Bugeye Pond for as long as I've been alive as my family owns one of the two camps on it and I've always found it to be a very pristine and relaxing place. Aside from snowmobile noise in the winter and traffic on route 27, I would have to say it is the most gorgeous place in Maine. As for the fishing, I haven't been there since I actually began fishing so I can't really attest to that. My parents were up there this past weekend and said there were people on the pond all weekend long, but they never saw anybody land a brookie despite the abundant rises.... |
