You must stop by Towne Cove when you're here at Towne Pond, and do have a look at Lake Hebron, it's a delightful lake. Towne Pond gets a normal amount of rain; July is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Any time is a brilliant time at Towne Pond if you adore the       outdoors. While you're here at Towne Pond you can take a hike along the Big Squaw Mountain Trail; the top of Buck Hill is easily observed from Towne Pond. You can run the rapids of Piscataquis River near Towne Pond, and dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Moosehead Lake. Gotta ski! Big Squaw is a tremendous site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. On a fine day at Towne Pond you can take a hike along the Gulf Hagas Trail. You'll need more than a day to                  look at everything Towne Pond has to offer, you can camp at Wildwood Shores Campground. Summertime at Towne Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During the winter the highs are generally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Towne Pond during the winter typically dip into the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Towne Pond you get some pleasant water scenery at Phillips Brooks Dam, and Towne Pond is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Balsam woods Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby.
