Going for a hike on the Jerusalem Mountain Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and at Torrey Pond you can make out Brays Mountain. The yearly rainfall here at Torrey Pond is about average; most of the rain falls during November; February is the month with the least moisture. Any time is a delightful time at Torrey Pond if you adore the outdoors. Nearby Colossom Ledges is a fine location to go if you're at Torrey Pond, and       a great close by hotel is Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge. There are other spots here than Torrey Pond, for example Mill Pond, and if you're looking for a beach nearby we recommend Birchhead Shore. Near Torrey Pond you discover the Sawyer Notch Trail which is a good hiking trail, and the scenery at Lily Pond Dam is charming. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Torrey Pond highs are frequently in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. Through the winter                  highs are in the 20's; overnight lows at Torrey Pond throughout the wintertime typically plunge into the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Not far from Torrey Pond, you'll discover Mill Pond which is a scenic lake, and if you come at the right time of year, Goose Falls offers some good whitewater. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Blue Hill Falls, and Island Country Club is a golf course nearby. There's just no way someone can get bored here at Torrey Pond. Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a magnificent site to get some rest. Torrey Pond is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Sunshine Campground is a tremendous local campground; you ought to go to Deep Hole when you're here.
