If you are in this part of Maine make sure to pay a visit to Torrey Pond. So much enjoyable stuff in the vicinity of Torrey Pond, absolutely fantastic. Whitewater paddling is delightful on Blue Hill Falls; dry warm beds await you at Pilgrim's Inn. This lake is so wonderful. The Jerusalem Mountain Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Greenlaws RV and Tenting Park is always a great experience. Brays Mountain is uncomplicated to spot from Torrey Pond, and Colossom Ledges is also a magnificent location to discover. There's great hiking along the Sawyer Notch Trail, and if you need a location to stay Goose Cove Lodge is a fine choice. Paddling on Goose Falls is so much fun. The amount of rainfall that falls
at Torrey Pond is close to the national average; November is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is February.
At Torrey Pond all through the warm days of summer highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it
cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's, and overnight lows at Torrey Pond throughout the winter usually fall into the 0's.
