You'll need more than a day to look at everything Toothaker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground. The Brook Trail is a good hiking trail near Toothaker Pond; Orbeton Stream is a great whitewater       spot close by. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarloaf USA is close to Toothaker Pond, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Beal Pond if you're here; it's not far at all. After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a good site to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Dummer's Beach. Near Toothaker Pond you come across the Chimney Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; Wilson Lake Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's.
