Cottle Brook is a lovely stream that is worth a visit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Toothaker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground. An average amount of precipitation falls at Toothaker Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. at Toothaker Pond you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail, and a lake nearby is Bog Pond. All through the months of summer highs here at Toothaker Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into
the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Toothaker Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.

The bridge in New Sharon is by far the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that.
