     Cottle Brook is a lovely stream that is worth a visit. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Toothaker Pond has to offer, you can camp at Crocker Mountain Cirque Campground. An average amount of precipitation falls at Toothaker Pond; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. The Brook Trail is a good hiking trail near Toothaker Pond; Orbeton Stream is a great whitewater  
   spot close by. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Sugarloaf USA is close to Toothaker Pond, unsurprisingly you could also stop by Beal Pond if you're here; it's not far at all.
After a long day outdoors Herbert Grand Hotel is a good site to spend a night or two; you can stay the night at Dummer's Beach. Near Toothaker Pond you come across the Chimney Trail which is a delightful hiking trail; Wilson Lake Inn is a glorious place to get some rest. Yeah, come
 
               here to Toothaker Pond for a pleasant time. The snow is good at Saddleback, and if you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Sandy River.
This lake is so wonderful. On a great day at Toothaker Pond you can take a hike along the Piazza Rock Trail, and a lake nearby is Bog Pond. All through the months of summer highs here at Toothaker Pond get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are typically in the 20's with temperatures at Toothaker Pond dipping down into the-10's through winter nights.

Today I finished a kayak trip from Strong, Maine and took out at Osoola Park in Norridgewock. It took a day and three quarters. The bridge in New Sharon is by far  the largest waves just under the bridge. Tired arms went through that at the near end of day. The water after that is fast for about an hour after that. Need to pay attention....
