     Why not camp at Balsam Cove Campground while you're here at Toddy Pond, and Penobscot River is a perfect whitewater spot nearby. So much amusing stuff near Toddy Pond, just tremendous. The Sand Bar is a nice location to spend some time at, and skiing at New Hermon Mountain is one of those things you just should do. Toddy Pond is a good place of common precipitation; through the month of November you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months  
   is February. You're almost certainly keen on lakes, Craig Pond is one of those nearby, and Hell Bottom Swamp is an attention-grabbing swamp in the vicinity of Toddy Pond.
Homestead Motel and Cottages is a pleasant location to get some rest, and Toddy Pond is right by the Peaked Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A great location for whitewater paddling near Toddy Pond is Narramissic River, and Whispering Pines Campground is a good local campground.
 
               This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Best Western Fort Knox Inn is a good choice; for you golfers we recommend nearby Bucksport Golf Club.
The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Toddy Pond, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter the highs are usually in the 20's; night lows at Toddy Pond during the winter regularly plunge into the 0's. Having a brilliant time at Toddy Pond is painless. The vista of Atkins Hill from Toddy Pond is picturesque; the Blue Hill Trail offers hiking at its best.
There's fine hiking along the Bald Mountain Trail, and Toddy Pond Dam is a delightful place, beyond doubt worth checking out. Nearby lakes? Sure, Heart Pond is close to Toddy Pond, and if you're looking for some flowing water? Try Craig Pond Brook.

Wooded lakeside campground with water activities, game room, store, laundry, free hot showers and free Wi-Fi.  Relax by your campfire or explore Bar Harbor, 26 miles away.  Ft. Knox in Bucksport is only 5 miles south. We are located on Toddy Pond, a 10 mile lake with great fishing and boating.  The lake offers pickerel, large mouth bass, trout, sun fish, salmon and more. We have powered pontoon boats, fishing boat rentals, kayaks, canoes and paddle boats.  We are a family campground.  Pets are welcome at an extra cost. Friday night is movie night.  Saturday morning arts and crafts for children, Saturday afternoons Candy Bingo and Saturday night bonfire at the waterfront (weather permitting). Hay rides both Friday and Saturday nights. Christmas in July, the 3rd weekend of July and Halloween in August the 3rd weekend in August.  Come and listen to the loons.  If you do not own a camper, come and stay in one of our rustic cabins or one of our rental campers.  Don’t miss the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful setting....

Pushaw Lake Campground is located on Pushaw Lake in Orono, Maine. It is an 8 mile long lake with wonderful swimming and fishing. We have two laundry , two bathroom and shower facilities, as well as a Store, Gift Shop, Moose Cafe' with free WIFI in the Cafe for all our guest to enjoy, recreation hall and Arcade.

We rent Canoes and Kayaks for those of you that would like to get out on the lake and enjoy some of the beautiful nature that surrounds us. Maybe you just want to lay around on our beach and do nothing but listen to the loons, whatever the case may be come and do it with us at Pushaw Lake Campground and let us make your camping experience the best yet....
