A visit to Tilden Pond is always a good idea. What a place this is for outdoors folks. Alder Brook is a perfect local stream, and there's good hiking along the Ragged Mountain Trail. Camden is a good local ski area, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Goose River. Tilden Pond gets a common amount of annual rainfall; through November this area sees the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture.

There's so much to do here at Tilden Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Northport Travel Park is a splendid spot for that, and there are some glorious whitewater spots on Ducktrap River. down to the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 20's, and night lows through the winter for Tilden Pond tend to be in the 0's. Go for a hike on the Mount Megunticook Trail, and if you like swamps you're in luck,
Hayford Bog is right close by. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the vicinity of Tilden Pond. Golf can be played at Northport Golf Club, and people from Rockland love to come here. This lake is so wonderful. If you
need a site to stay Londonderry Inn is a great choice. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Tilden Pond has to offer, you can camp at Aldus Shores Lakeside Camping. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Levenseller Pond, and a great nearby hotel is The Jeweled Turret Inn.
