There's whitewater on Ducktrap River for all you adrenaline rush seekers, and dry warm beds await you at The Jeweled Turret Inn. Don't leave Tilden Pond without first going for a hike along the Mount Megunticook Trail; Northport Travel Park is a good campground nearby. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more cool stuff to do here at Tilden Pond. A golf course       right next door to Tilden Pond is Northport Golf Club, and Camden is a very popular ski area nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Hayford Bog is right close by; Aldus Shores Lakeside Camping is a brilliant local campground. Do have a look at Levenseller Pond close to Tilden Pond, it's a beautiful lake, and get your pulse rate up on the delightful whitewater of Goose River. Alder Brook is in the vicinity of Tilden Pond and                  is always a bliss to have a look at, and there's great hiking along the Ragged Mountain Trail. Good hiking is available along the Mount Battie Trail, and Londonderry Inn is a good location to get some rest. While you're here at Tilden Pond, you could also stop at striking Cross Pond, and Tilden Pond is a location with many visitors from Rockland. Through the days of summer at Tilden Pond highs are generally in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 0's for Tilden Pond. Tilden Pond gets a normal amount of rain; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
