Dry warm beds await you at Hollywood Slots Hotel And Raceway; one of the main characteristics of the surroundings of Thurston Pond is Orcutt Mountain. There are great spots to discover along the Peaked Mountain Trail, and head out on the scenic water at Seal Ledge Marina. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Thurston Pond is peerless! If you need a location to stay     Courtyard Bangor is a great choice, and there is a pleasant hiking trail close by called the Bald Mountain Trail. Thurston Pond is a tremendous site to visit for more than one day, Whispering Pines Campground is a tremendous site to camp nearby.   No good fishing in this pond. Don't waste your time. No one goes here because it is polluted and no good fishing. Unless you like catching sunnies. Was run out by a guy named Ed.
