Second Pond is a nearby lake that you could visit, and Patten Pond Camping Resort is a tremendous campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Mill Stream Meadow is a swamp close to Third Pond, and if you need a place to stay Twilite Motel is a good choice. Whitewater paddling is great on Narramissic River, and the Bald Mountain Trail is a glorious hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       Birchhead Shore is right next door to Third Pond and is a wonderful beach to have a look at, and Robin Hood Camp is a good local campground. Third Pond is a good site of common rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest of the months is February. Near Third Pond you discover the Old Cove Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Summertime at Third Pond comes with high temperatures in                  the 70's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Third Pond. Some nearby water includes Carleton Stream; if you get bored of Third Pond you could also check out close by Fourth Pond. In case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Blue Hill Falls, and after a long day outdoors Eggemoggin Oceanfront Lodge is a great place to spend a night or two. You just should go for Third Pond.
