This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is great here at Third Lake, you can go for a hike along the Eagle Lake Tote Road, and you can run the rapids of Munsungan Stream. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. North Branch Brayley Brook is a delightful local stream; get your heart pumping on the delightful whitewater of Webster Brook. If       you get bored of Third Lake, you could also explore nearby Upper Moose Pond. Throughout the summer months at Third Lake highs are typically in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Third Lake. A normal amount of precipitation falls here at Third Lake; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily July, that's the one that rains the most, and                  the driest month of the year is February. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a glorious site to spend a night or two, and the Old Telos Tote Road is a tremendous hiking trail close by.
