If you came to camp Blackburn's Camp Ground is a splendid place to do that; the slopes of Shawnee Peak are so inviting nobody can resist. The high level of rain makes The Flowage Reservoir a pretty wet location; of all the months in a year November is the one with the most rain, and September meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you       then we recommend Little Ossipee River, and as expected Brown Brook is a wonderful stream that is worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. Sanford/Kennebunkport Super 8 Motel is a great place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at The Flowage Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Maine Mountain is a delightful place for that. This lake is so wonderful. At The Flowage Reservoir you can make out Chadbournes Ridge, and a magnificent                  nearby hotel is Sanford Inn. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the exciting things at The Flowage Reservoir. There's whitewater on Saco River for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Lakes? Sure, Lake Arrowhead is close at hand. There are other places here than The Flowage Reservoir, for example Doles Pond, and you don’t have to go far from The Flowage Reservoir to catch a glimpse of the water at Ledgemere Dam. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to The Flowage Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
