Get wet paddling on Meduxnekeag River - South Branch, and going for a hike on the Pierce Tote Road is always a wonderful adventure. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Mattawamkeag River - East Branch, and close by you stumble on the Potters Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail. Dry warm beds await you at Shiretown Motor Inn, and if you came to camp My Brothers Place is a nice spot to do that.       After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a good place to spend a night or two, and camping at Mountain View Campground is always a perfect experience. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff next to Tenmile Lake. Go for a hike on the Kennedy Tote Road. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Tenmile Lake with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Tenmile Lake are                  in the 0's.
