After a long day outdoors Wilson Lake Inn is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and getting to Barker Stream from Temple Stream Reservoir       is easy. Going for a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is always a great adventure; if you come at the right time of year, Temple Stream offers some tremendous whitewater. At Temple Stream Reservoir all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and during the dark hours in the wintertime at Temple Stream Reservoir                  temperatures fall to the 0's. So much amusing stuff to do at Temple Stream Reservoir, so little time. Temple Stream Dam is worth visiting if you're here, and lakes are such calm spots, why not have a look at Pease Pond.
