Temple Stream Reservoir is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; during November this area sees the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Nor 40 Campground is a nice local campground; hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail is splendid fun. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn & Suites, and Wilson Stream is a magnificent whitewater       spot nearby. During the warm months at Temple Stream Reservoir highs are generally in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and overnight lows at Temple Stream Reservoir throughout the wintertime regularly dip into the 0's. You absolutely have to go for Temple Stream Reservoir. Temple Stream Dam has brilliant water scenery and it's near Temple Stream Reservoir, and a magnificent place                  for whitewater paddling is Temple Stream. If you need a place to stay Wilson Lake Inn is a nice choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Wilson Lake Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Sugarloaf USA is a splendid local ski area. Visit Barker Stream while you're here at Temple Stream Reservoir; the skiing at Titcomb is pleasant.
