    Go to Taylor Brook Pond if you want to go to a nice lake. For the duration of the summer months, highs mostly are in the 70's at Taylor Brook Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs during the winter are generally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Taylor Brook Pond sink into the 0's. This is no location for people who don’t like to have a good time. There are other locations here than Taylor  
   Brook Pond, for example Grass Pond, and whitewater paddling is pleasant on Mopang Stream. The summit of Ben Tucker Mountain can be observed from Taylor Brook Pond, and don't leave Taylor Brook Pond without first going for a hike along the Lead Mountain Trail.
In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Pleasant River. If you like swamps, you're in luck, Brandy Heath is right nearby, and a good spot to camp here
 
               at Taylor Brook Pond is Sunset Point Campground. The high level of rainfall makes Taylor Brook Pond a quite wet site; the month with most of the rain is November, and June is the month with the least moisture.
This lake is so wonderful. Oak Pond is a magnificent lake close to Taylor Brook Pond, and why not camp at Mainayr Campground if you're here at Taylor Brook Pond. Don't forget to take a great little trip to Bill Smith Brook, and after a long day outdoors Bar Harbor Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.

Clifford Lake is very isolated . You can get their via route 9 or Route 1 in Princeton. I would recommend a recent typo map and asking plenty of guestions from the locals. There is a small camping area. My last trip there (92) I had a truck and it was needed to traverse one road that comes to mind. The fishing was excellent ( pickerel averaged 20 in.) . Hunting in that area was, should I say, productive . ...
