If you are in York county it's always a good idea to stop by Tarwater Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Swamps like The Heath are fun to pop by, and naturally Bartlett Brook flows through this region. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tarwater Pond while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Tarwater Pond are in the 10's. Sanford Inn is a glorious place

Bartlett Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop at; you can stay the night at Bunganut Lake Camping Area. At Tarwater Pond you can make out Ricker Hill. Tarwater Pond gets a lot of water; the month with most of the rain is November while September is generally the driest month.
