Beautiful Tarbox Pond has much to offer visitors. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Tarbox Pond; Carry Trail is a magnificent local trail, and a pleasant place for whitewater paddling is Allagash Stream. During the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 70's at Tarbox Pond. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's; night lows in the-10's for Tarbox Pond. This lake is so wonderful.

You can never get enough of the great skiing at Big Squaw, and you can run the rapids of Caucomgomoc Stream. Tarbox Pond gets a normal amount of annual rain; during the month of July you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month.
