     Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Swift River Reservoir. During the months of summer at Swift River Reservoir temperatures are typically in the 70's while night lows are ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are typically in the 20's; overnight lows during the wintertime for Swift River Reservoir tend to be in the-10's. The yearly precipitation here at Swift River Reservoir is about average; August is the wettest month  
   with most rain; February is when it's the driest.
If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the White Mountains. Don't forget to take a wonderful little visit to Goff Brook, and Mount Abram is a great local ski area. Nearby lakes? Sure, Androscoggin River Reservoir is in the vicinity of Swift River Reservoir, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Swift River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining stuff at Swift River Reservoir.
 
               Do stop at Thurston Mill Dam if you're here at Swift River Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn.
Swift River Reservoir is right by the Brook Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Mountain View Campground is a glorious place to camp. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a good campground nearby, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Chimney Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. You're possibly hooked on lakes, Androscoggin River Reservoir is one of those nearby, and if you need a place to stay The Bethel Inn Resort is a nice choice. This place, the White Mountains, has so much outdoors amusing things. Oakdale Country Club is a golf course near Swift River Reservoir, and paddling on Little Androscoggin River is so much fun. The skiing at Black Mountain is brilliant; hiking along the Angel Falls Trail is great fun.
