    Swift River Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The White Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Androscoggin River Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could check out; you can run the rapids of Little Androscoggin River. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The White Mountains is peerless! The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of close by Black Mountain, and playing golf is lots of fun at Oakdale Country Club.

   every place had this much outdoors fun stuff, what a great earth it would be. While you're here at Swift River Reservoir, you could also pop by pretty Androscoggin River Reservoir, and the Brook Trail is a delightful hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors The Bethel Inn Resort is a great place to spend a night or two, and Swift River Reservoir is great enough to spend more than a day at, Mountain View Campground is a great  
               local campground. Swift River Reservoir gets a normal amount of rain; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is February.
This lake is so wonderful. The snow is delightful at Mount Abram, and you can take a little tour to Thurston Mill Dam since you're here at Swift River Reservoir. If you're here at Swift River Reservoir, you could have a look at Goff Brook, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Chimney Trail. Now, you may assume that's plenty but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the White Mountains. The Perennial Inn is a brilliant spot to get some rest; there's whitewater on Swift River for all you thrill seekers.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do near Swift River Reservoir. There is a tremendous hiking trail close to Swift River Reservoir called the Angel Falls Trail; camping at Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is always a pleasant experience. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Swift River Reservoir get into the 70's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 20's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Swift River Reservoir temperatures descend to the-10's.
