Enjoy a round of golf at Oakdale Country Club not far from Swift River Reservoir, and if you need a location to stay The Perennial Inn is a wonderful choice. This lake is so wonderful. There are some nice whitewater spots on Little Androscoggin River, and the slopes of Black Mountain are so inviting noone can resist. Summer at Swift River Reservoir comes with high temperatures       in the 70's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are regularly in the 20's; night lows at Swift River Reservoir during the wintertime commonly dip into the-10's. But wait, there's more to do near Swift River Reservoir. The Brook Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not stop at Thurston Mill Dam while you're here. Swift River Reservoir is a good place of typical rainfall; August is when                  you get the most rain here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Yeah, come up here to the White Mountains for a nice time.
