If you are traveling by, why not stop by Swift River Pond. This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. The annual rain here at Swift River Pond is about average; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. For the period of the warmest time of the year, highs frequently are in the 70's at Swift River Pond. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The cold days

This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Black Brook Cove Campground since you're here at Swift River Pond, and Blue Mountains is easy to spot from Swift River Pond. in the neighborhood of Swift River Pond, it's a picturesque lake; Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a delightful local campground.
Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the White Mountains. Don't leave Swift River Pond without
first going for a hike along the Brook Trail; dry warm beds await you at The Perennial Inn. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the White Mountains. Going for a hike on the Piazza Rock Trail is always a nice adventure;
if you like skiing, you're in luck; Saddleback is rather near. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Chimney Trail.
Drift down the rapids of Dead River - South Branch in a kayak, and Black Mountain is a good local ski area.
