While you're here at Swift River Pond you can take a hike along the Brook Trail. There's so much to do here at Swift River Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a perfect spot for that. Hiking along the Piazza Rock Trail is great fun, and you can hit the slopes at Black Mountain close at hand. This lake is so wonderful. A range like the Blue Mountains here at Swift       River Pond is always wonderful, and you get a great view of Blue Mountains from here. Swift River Pond is one of the lakes here in the White Mountains. Man, is there a load of cool things to do near Swift River Pond. Have a good hiking adventure along the Chimney Trail, and if you need a site to stay The Perennial Inn is a great choice. And if that's not enough there's a heap more enjoyable stuff to do in the White Mountains. There are some perfect whitewater                  spots on Sandy River, and you'll locate a picturesque lake called Little Swift River Pond. Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Dead River - South Branch. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Swift River Pond has to offer, you can camp at Black Brook Cove Campground.
