Hollywood Slots Hotel And Raceway is a wonderful location to get some rest, and Souadabscook Stream has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Swetts Pond is near East Orrington Dam which is a striking place positively worth taking a look at. This lake is so wonderful. A charming lake like Souadabscook Stream Reservoir near Swetts Pond is a       good place to take a look at; on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Bald Mountain Trail. From a rain point of view Swetts Pond is a rather typical location; the month of November is the wettest with most of the rain; February on the other hand is the driest. There is a good hiking trail near Swetts Pond called the Blue Hill Trail, and the snow is great at New Hermon Mountain. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - BANGOR is a nice site to spend                  a night or two, and camping is available at Ridge Ranch Family Campground. At Swetts Pond through the warm months highs are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows descend down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Swetts Pond fall into the 0's. A perfect location to camp here at Swetts Pond is Pleasant Hill Campground, and in the event that you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Penobscot River.
