There's always East Orrington Dam to have a look at in the neighborhood of Swetts Pond; dry warm beds await you at SUPER 8 MOTEL - BANGOR. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Get covered with water paddling on Penobscot       River, and glorious skiing awaits you at New Hermon Mountain. Swetts Pond is a good place of normal precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Swetts Pond is a glorious site to visit for more than one day, Ridge Ranch Family Campground is a glorious site to camp nearby, and a beautiful lake like Williams Pond is a great place to explore. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Swetts Pond. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Swetts Pond are in the 0's.
