    Many people like to go to Swains Pond. This lake is located in the wonderful White Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Swains Pond without first going for a hike along the Angel Falls Trail, and Swains Pond is a great spot to visit for more than one day, Coos Canyon Cabins and Campground is a great spot to camp nearby. Having a delightful time in the White Mountains is simple. Go for a hike on the Brook Trail, and get yourself into a kayak and  
   hit Swift River.
Here at Swains Pond you can catch a glimpse of Black Mountain. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Swains Pond has to offer, you can camp at Stony Brook Rec. and Camping. This lake is so wonderful. Grand Summit Resort Sunday River is a great site to get some rest. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff next to Swains Pond. The skiing at Black Mountain is magnificent, and there are some delightful whitewater spots on
 
               Black Brook.
You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting things the White Mountains has to offer. There are splendid places to look at along the Chimney Trail; if you need a location to stay The Perennial Inn is a great choice. All through the warm months, highs usually are in the 70's at Swains Pond. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Swains Pond drop into the-10's. A common amount of rain falls here at Swains Pond; throughout the month of August you get the most rain around here; February on the other hand is the driest.
Mount Abram is a great local ski area; nearby you stumble on good locations like Roxbury Notch.
