Near Supply Pond you come across the Alder Brook Trail which is a delightful hiking trail. Lakes are pleasant; Heald Pond is a lake that's right next door to Supply Pond. And that's not all you can do here at Supply Pond. Get your pulse rate up on the great whitewater of Enchanted Stream, and some       close by water includes Halfway Brook. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Supply Pond has to offer, you can camp at Jackman Trading Post, and going for a hike on the Bald Mountain Trail is always a good adventure. The yearly rainfall here at Supply Pond is about average; throughout July this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Penobscot River - South Branch. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Supply Pond get into the 70's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's.
