Do stop by Sunken Pond while you're in this part of Maine. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Victoria Inn is a delightful choice, and going for a hike on the Albany Notch Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Albany Mountain is picturesque and can be observed from Sunken Pond, and on a splendid day you can take a hike along the Albany Brook Trail. For the duration of the summertime at Sunken Pond highs are typically in the 70's while nighttime

| | lows are frequently in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Sunken Pond are in the-10's.
Sunken Pond gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is when it's the driest. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Sunken Pond is unbeatable! Drift down the rapids of Sunday River in a kayak, and Crocker Pond Campground is a great local campground. | |

Just can't get enough of the White Mountains. New England Brook is a brilliant spot to go to; not far from Sunken Pond you obtain some good water scenery at Patte Brook Dam.
And if that's not enough there's loads more amusing
stuff to do in the White Mountains. After a long day outdoors The Bethel Inn Resort is a tremendous place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Crooked River is so much fun. All the outdoors fun stuff in the neighborhood of Sunken
Pond will keep you coming back persistently. Mount Abram has nice slopes and a friendly staff. Don't leave Sunken Pond without first checking out Browns Ledge, and on a pleasant day you can stop by Waterfowl Marsh, a swamp in the
neighborhood of Sunken Pond.
This lake is so wonderful. A lake nearby is Little Papoose Pond, and wonderful skiing awaits you at Sunday River. There is a fine hiking trail right next door to Sunken Pond called the Albany Mountain
Trail; Sunken Pond is a good site to visit for more than one day, Bethel Outdoor Adventures Campground is a good site to camp nearby. Sunken Pond is a beautiful lake in the White Mountains.
