     While you're here at Sunken Lake, you could also visit pretty Long Lake; swamps like MacElroy Heath right next door to Sunken Lake make for splendid locations to pop by. You'll locate a striking lake called Josh Pond near Sunken Lake, and Chase Mills Stream has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Knowlton's Seashore Campground is a great site to do that, and whitewater paddling is splendid on Hobart  
   Stream. Summertime at Sunken Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sunken Lake.
Sunken Lake is a rather wet place typically with a large amount of precipitation; November is the wettest month with most rain; July meanwhile is the driest month. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff to do are really plentiful
 
               here at Sunken Lake. There's so much to do here at Sunken Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Cobscook Bay State Park is a delightful place for that; Roosevelt Campobello International Park is a very good place to visit.
