Black Cat Brook is a perfect local stream, and in case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Magalloway River. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Old Magalloway Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Balsams Wilderness.       A good place to camp here at Sunday Pond is Deer Mountain Campground, and if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Arnold Trail. The high level of rain makes Sunday Pond a rather wet place; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
