     During your tour to Sunday Pond you'll meet some folks from Bangor for sure, and it's a wonderful idea to go to Pockwockamus Stream. After a long day outdoors Americas Best Value Heritage Motor Inn is a great site to spend a night or two; most likely you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Pockwockamus Pond is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. You're perhaps interested in lakes, Upper Togue Pond is one of those close by; if the weather  
   is nice, you can go for a hike along the Abol Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Chimney Pond Campground is always a great experience.
All the outdoors cool stuff close to Sunday Pond will keep you coming back again and again. Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a good place to get some rest, and you can run the rapids of Nesowadnehunk Stream. On a good day at Sunday Pond you can take a hike along the Telephone Trail, and get your pulse rate up on the
 
               good whitewater of Sandy Stream. While you're here at Sunday Pond you can take a hike along the Dudley Trail, and camping is available at Big Moose Campground.

High temperatures at Sunday Pond through the months of summer are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
