This lake is one of the great places here in the White Mountains. Life's too short to enjoy all the cool stuff in the White Mountains. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Rapid River, and dry warm beds await you at Grand Summit Resort Sunday River. After a long day outdoors Sunday River is a tremendous place to spend a night or two; you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Sunday       River while you're here. Man, is there plenty of amusing things to do close to Sunday Pond. Sunday Pond is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Mollidgewock Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby, and you acquire a wonderful view of Johnson Mountain from here. The yearly precipitation here at Sunday Pond is about average; most of the rain falls through August, and the driest of the months is February. All year is a wonderful time in the White                  Mountains if you like the outdoors. Nearby lakes? Sure, Lower Richardson Lake is near Sunday Pond; going for a hike on the Table Rock Trail is always a wonderful adventure. Summertime highs at Sunday Pond generally tend to be in the 70's. Summer night lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Sunday Pond. Cupsuptic Campground is a splendid local campground, and you can go for a hike on the Old Speck Mountain Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There are some glorious whitewater spots on Swift Cambridge River. This lake is so wonderful.
