This lake is so wonderful. Mountain View Campground is a great campground nearby, and get dripping wet paddling on Baskahegan Stream. Having a good time at Sucker Lake is uncomplicated. After a long day outdoors Scottish Inns Houlton is a perfect site to spend a night or two. Whitehorse Reef is a great place to spend some time at, and you can have a great hiking adventure along the Potters Trail. From a precipitation       point of view Sucker Lake is a relatively typical place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is February. All through the warm days of summer, highs mostly are in the 70's at Sucker Lake with night lows in the 50's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Sucker Lake. Greenland Cove Campground is a nice local campground. Lakes are good; Grand Lake                  is a lake that's close to Sucker Lake.
